SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-Senior Level

FUNCTION: Finance CI Team

LOCATION: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role is part of BAT GBS Finance APME.

The Continuous Improvement Manager is accountable for successful implementation of the Projects in the R2R space related to Evolution and Accenture LP.

Reports to: CI Lead

Reporting Level: Manages Self & Others

Geographic Scope: Asia Pacific & Middle East

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Coordinating the efforts of relevant teams for each initiative – this includes acquiring business requirements, testing, discussions with relevant people (in BCT, IT, GPE’s), training, and other change activities. Where cross functional impacts are identified, these teams will be engaged to ensure all requirements are appropriately captured.
• Engaging relevant partner to progress the initiatives – within and outside GBS.
• Supervising and resolve progress bottlenecks.
• Leading timelines and reporting on progress.
• Raising issues to Evolution team.
• Supporting the CI Lead in driving CI initiatives for R2R.
• Support the CIL in facilitating focus groups by providing metrics, data, opportunities and pain points to improve the operational working across the R2R scope.
• Performing UAT tests and quality checks on test scripts and UAT outcomes performed by the business.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• At least 8-10 years of experience in a global FMCG or similar fast-paced operating environment
• Functional understanding and SAP application of R2R
• Experience in leading team of (3-5 people) and handling various partners within/outside the GBS organization
• Project management experience will add value.
• Independent, self-starter, detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and can work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Able to drive projects and operational improvements and handle global partners remotely
• Understand the impact of the accounting processes and practices and any changes in accounting standards
• Degree educated with professional accountancy qualification (i.e. CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
