Title : Deployment Specialist - IT Project Manager
Industry: Oil & Gas International Company
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Contract duration: 6-12 months contract
Monday to Friday (5 days per week) 9am - 6pm

Purpose :

The client's top Global B2B eCommerce platform, client's MarketHub enables customers of Lubricants, Bitumen, Aviation and Marine businesses to transact online and manage their accounts seamlessly and efficiently, thus improving the customer experience by saving time. Features include one-stop, real-time order management, order tracking and reporting tools to monitor orders and view all financial elements of their transactions. The platform also provides customers with access to the Client Distributor Academy, a flagship training programme designed to help distributors’ sales, technical and marketing teams improve their sales. Client MarketHub is used by over 35,000 customers in over 152 markets and is translated into 29 languages.

For our Customers – we aim to transform our B2B Customer’s eCommerce Experience with Client (including Distributors/ Wholesellers/ Retailers). This is bringing the B2C Consumer Experience into B2B for the modern executive.
For Our Business Partners – we are building the next generation Marketplace platform that will allow COBs to gain power back to personalise the frontend at speed and the ultimate ability to bring multiple offerings across Client together (from Digital Services, Solutions like IOT sensors, Customer Service modules and 3P accessibility).

Dimension :

  • Central Content readiness for 16 markets (Localization subject to markets’ requirements)[APME – India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Pakistan, China, Thailand, Egypt] , [ERA – Turkey, Germany, UK, Russia, South Africa] & [ AM – Canada, US]
  • Customer Onboarding readiness with User guide, any form in collaboration with Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) vendor approved by Client
  • 2.0 MarketHub transition experience > easy, personalized, trust, proactive (evidenced in CSI=8.5/ deploy surveys)
  • Customer transition effort - # calls to Customer Operations, #complaints, # hot alerts (relating to clarity of switch over and new features) post implementation

Accountabilities :

  • Create awareness & excitement with frontline teams
  • Coordinate local deployment activities leading to stage gate sign off e.g. testing, localization, insights, etc. (act as the integration link between MarketHub product/ technical team and Customer Operations frontline teams)
  • Build capability with frontline Customer Operations teams to handle customer issues quickly (step in where rapid response is not working)
  • Build capability with frontline Marketing teams to use Smart Edit feature and to plan/run marketing campaigns
  • Support Customer onboarding with Customer Operations frontline – comms, phasing schedules
  • Tracking, Reporting on progress and risk
  • Drive voice of customers close loop + insights, to be channeled back to MarketHub Product team
  • Drive quantifiable uptake of SMH 2.0 (# of conversions – existing + new)
  • Drive rapid response of customer issues (# of issues resolved within SLA)
  • Drive CX of SMH 2.0 on-boarding experience (CSI score)

Requirement :

  • At least Bachelor Degree in any field
  • Passion and excitement to stretch yourself out of your comfort zone.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of B2B businesses and in a Content design/ training role with a solid understanding of content development principles
  • Able to curate and present informative and engaging content in enabling easy customer onboarding and adoption
  • Attentive to details and possess an impeccable command of English
  • Experience and track record in pushing ideas from inception, building coalitions across different functional groups and ultimately executing ideas to bring them to life
  • Experience in the content marketing field/ agency or in-house capacity is desirable
  • Experience of dealing with B2B Customers is desirable
  • Experience of “training facilitation” i.e. translate the designed content to train-the-trainer users is desirable
  • Experience with Digital / Agile programmes are great but not essential.
  • Able to take up a 6-12 moths contract role.

This is not a normal role, in a typical Digital project, with standard deliverables. This is about looking for exceptional individuals that are able to drive transformational change by having the courage to take risks, are empowered to make decisions and ultimately take accountability for stretched delivery.

Contract length: 12 months
