Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent.
Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.

Preferably Manager specialized in Finance – General / Cost Accounting or equivalent.
To ensure that all financial management including statutory compliance systems are in place and adhered to.
To ensure that the appropriate financial infrastructure is in place to support the provision of Company’s services to its staff, business partners and the general public including strategic financial planning.
To manage the Company’s financial affairs, including management and statutory accounts together with longer term financial projections and to ensure that the most efficient and effective financial control systems and reporting mechanisms are in place.
To prepare quarterly management accounts and projections and other relevant reports, in consultation with the General Manager and other departments, for presentation to the Board of Directors.
To efficiently manage all external contracts and to ensure that all the Company’s expenditure is correctly and accounted for.
To ensure the overall smooth running of the Company’s internal administration and its cost-effectiveness.
Provide financial management advice on revisions of budgets, preparing periodical forecasts and any changed needed.
Monitor the petty cash and bank balances to ensure sufficient funds are always available depending on the program needs.
To ensure disbursement of cash advances and reconciliation to ensure recovery.
Collection and filing of regular financial reports and budget records.
Establish and implement administration and logistics procedures in line with organisational requirement.
Establish and manage all procurement and logistics activities including possible management of vehicles and drivers.
Represent department at relevant meetings.
Contribute to the adherence of all security guidelines.
Ensuring effective management of Company’s cash flow including cash flow budgeting and forecasting.
Maintaining an efficient, timely and compliant payroll function.
Compliance management including statutory compliance and taxation (Annual accounts and audit, instalments, reporting, superannuation, workers compensation, SST reporting).
Developing and maintaining policies relevant to Company’s financial management.
Managing the register of contracts.
Managing insurance and leasing arrangements.
Strategic financial planning of the organisation in conjunction with the GM and Executive team.
Working with the Management Team to develop and implement budgetary system improvements.
Other duties as reasonably directed by the GM.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA Experience and Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
The Finance and Administration Manager must demonstrate:
At least five years of experience in key facets of financial management such as developing and maintaining budgets and cash flows, overseeing creditors and debtors, and statutory compliance.
Formal qualifications in financial management or equivalent.
Proficiency in accounting packages. Successful track record of managing operations and financial and management accounting.
Excellent IT skills with strong knowledge of Excel and Word.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent planner and strategic thinker.
Excellent risk management and cost control skills.
Ability to take responsibility for decisions made and to learn from the outturn.
Ability to deliver timely results despite obstacles and limited resources.
Excellent advocacy, presentation and communication skills.
Good understanding of relevant IT systems
Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
