Role Description
As a HR (People and Talent) intern, you will work closely and directly with the company’s Managing Director to look at designing and implementing HR structures such as our Appraisal and Career Progression Framework and our Learning and Development curriculum. Separately, you will also assist the HR Manager in consolidating our existing HR policies and also implement a new HR system for all staff.

Responsibility

  • Work with the Leadership Team to design and implement Annual Performance Review and Career Progression Plans for employees.
  • Educate and Train the Managers to conduct Performance Review and employee management and engagement.
  • Design and implement 2 - 3 recurring learning programs and workshops for employees.
  • Coordinate, gather feedback and present Anthola 2.0 culture, mission and vision.
  • Implementing new HR software, guide and train staff to use new systems.
  • Document and consolidate HR policies into a clear and editable presentation for staff.
  • Organise and plan team building activities.

Skills and Experience

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma that is applicable to talent management and HR
  • Have experience project managing or working with a team before (competitions or short term assignments are counted)
  • Having past internship experiences is a major plus
  • Background in Entrepreneurship, Counselling, Psychology, Operations
  • Good listening skills and passion for education
  • Ability to lead through influence in a cross-functional environment
  • Understanding of the insurance industry is a major plus
  • Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English; fluency in Mandarin is a bonus
  • Very strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Be a natural-born leader with a passion for people
  • An undeniably positive attitude, extreme dedication: must possess high energy to motivate others to participate in workshops
  • Self-motivated, proactive, hands-on and able to work autonomously if required

Expected Start Date: 05/10/2020

Salary: RM800.00 - RM1,200.00 per month
